Why do I have to verify my order?

Please do not take it personally if you are asked to verify your new order.

The Web Hosting and Domain Registration business has a high fraud risk. SKGOLD® Hosting carefully evaluates and screen all new orders in case of fraud, especially if you are from a high risk country.

Please complete the following steps and verify your order if you are serious about hosting with SKGOLD® Hosting:

  1. Please open a support ticket with our Billing department and attach a scanned copy of a government issued photo ID such as a driver license or passport.
  2. Please also attach a scanned copy of the credit card that was used during your purchase. For your protection, you may censor all digits of the credit card number, but please ensure the name, the last 4 digits and expiration date are visible and legible.
For your protection, all your attachments will be destroyed after verification of your order.

We don't want to keep your money, in case you decide not to verify your order. We will automatically cancel your order and refund your payment if we do not hear from you within 48 hours after initial contact. You would need to place a new order and pay again, since we automatically refunded your payment.
